Item Description
1959 Promotion report from CBS executives showing success of Autry - Linkletter appearance at Arizona State Fairgrounds. Incased in a 12" x 15" leather bound album with a 27 black and white 8" x 10" glossy photos. Included are photo of Gene on Champion - Linkletter in an Indian headdress - Gene shooting gun - Gene & Linkletter with beauty pagent contestants. Also included are 20 photo pages 11" x 14" of T.V. station scrapbook showing the press received by the Linkletter Show. Lot comes with letter from KOOL Radio-Television of Phoenix Arizona dated Jan. 14, 1959. Gene Autry is listed on letterhead as chairman of the board. Letter is signed by station V.P. contents of letter explains the above mentioned photo and event. From Autry's personal collection sold at Butterfield's in 1990. Exc. condition and content.
