Item Description
Lot of 2 1930s promotional items for The Return of Chandu film. 11x14" stiff paper lobby card for original 1934 release of 12-episode serial by Principal. This is for Episode 9 "The Invisible Terror." Film starred Lugosi as Frank Chandler/Chandu and features browntone photo scene of him pulling lying under a large boulder while a bearded old man wearing turban looks on. Left margin has smaller inset photo of Lugosi w/large cat statue behind him. Lt. margin tanning, All art is clean and VF. 8x10” bw glossy stock photo of a scene from the film with Edmund Lowe and Bela Lugosi. The photo is clean with minor wear overall and Very Fine.
