Lot of 6 from a numbered set of 11, with No.1 to 6 in the lot. Published by Richfield Oil copyright 1935. All issues are on newsprint w/printing in black and one additional color that varies from issue to issue. Issues are in two different formats. #1-4 are 8-1/4x11-1/2" and each is a single sheet that opens to total of 17x23". Issues #5 and 6 are each 11-1/2x17" w/four pages. Each features part of "The Strange Mist" story that continues in the next issue. Each has large illustration on front cover relating to that chapter of the story. Every issue also has detailed illustrated directions to build a model of a famous plane. All issues have lightly tanned w/age. #1 and 6 are VG condition with a 4.75” tear to the cover of issue #1 that was reinforced with clear tape. Otherwise they have scattered margin wear, and a number of tiny tears. #2 –5 are FN overall with scattered light wear and display nicely.
