Item Description
In an 1897 catalog from W&H titled "Good News For Button Collectors" this set was titled "Choice And Rare Flowers." When printed W&H offered 15 different for 30¢. However they continued to add to the group over the next few months and seemed to have produced a total of 20. 19 of those 20 are here. The group includes one reading "Precaution/Golden Rod" but it is missing a button simply reading "Golden Rod." Each is 7/8" with W&H or American Pepsin Gum back paper. Few tiny age dots on Delaware Peach and Tulip and the Pink Carnation is lightly tanned. The other 16 are extremely clean and display Mint. Rarely offered this close to a full set.
