Item Description
The celluloid buttons are all 1.25". Group leads off with one attached to a stickpin which is free to move but is still totally attached. Rare sepia photo of the Maine with tiny date below "Feb 15 1898." Bordered in black as a memorial and the first we've seen. Second with tabbed on brass frame is real photo sepia showing ship with name below. Third is also a real photo but with three long cello cracks and light marks on the background. Fourth is black and white photo also bordered in black. Fifth is white metal stickpin with paper label "U.S. Battle Ship Maine." Small tan mark at center and a couple even smaller scattered around. Last is a beautifully made brass piece with raised image of the ship accented in enamel paints and with text "Battleship Maine." NM luster. Those not mentioned condition wise are Exc. displaying Mint.
