Item Description
Large 24x46.25x9" deep cardboard store display holds total of six different action figures and four different horses for use w/these figures. From Marx's popular "Johnny West" line. ©1975. Text on display reads "Authentically Detailed, Each Figure Moves In 11 Joints And Is Durably Constructed Of Solid Poly Plastic; Horses Of High Impact Plastic. All Figures And Horses Complete With Scaled Accessories! As Seen On TV." Front of display lists names of each character/horse - Jay West on Pancho, Sam Cobra, Geronimo on Smoke Cloud Pinto, Jane West, Johnny West on Buckskin and General Custer on Thunderbolt. Sam Cobra figure has obvious issues as figure is broken in half at waist, above gunbelt which was stapled to figure for display. Figure also has handcuffed hands broken from wrists. Poor and just comes along. Jay West also has cracked bottom w/fragmented pieces, but this is not too distracting as displayed. Good/VG. Rest of figures are complete and NM as issued, although all are permanently attached to the display by means of wires on the underside of horse's hooves, staples on accessories etc. Not offensive when viewing display as most of them are hidden or barely noticeable. Comes w/folded illustrated sheet showing all figures/horses in the series. Display shows trace of wear w/aged tape strips on front corners and on top of display but is o/w Exc. Wonderful display.
