These 86 different comic character buttons were issued w/Pep cereal in 1945-1946. Each 13/16" dia. tin litho button has different color portrait. Some characters of note include - Blondie and Dagwood, Barney Google, Dick Tracy, Felix the Cat, Flash Gordon, Henry, The Katzenjammer Kids, Maggie and Jiggs, Moon Mullins and Kayo, Orphan Annie and Sandy, Popeye and Olive Oyl, Wimpy, The Phantom, Superman, Tillie the Toiler, Smokey Stover and many more. Of the 86 buttons in the set 22 are VG-Fine with a small visible paint flaw or small dent. The other 64 are Exc. to Mint with most of those NM to Mint. Much superior to the condition of typical sets.
