Item Description
This piece is pictured in the Geo. Borgfeldt ad on page 51 of Disneyana by Munsey. 35" long overall w/separate attached 3" tall fully three-dimensional composition wood Mickey Mouse head. Tip of cane has metal cap. Wooden rod of cane has decal reading "Mickey Mouse" and "Des. Pat. 82802 By Walt Disney." 1932. Head of cane has all over crazing but this has stabilized. .25" flake to back top edge of ear. Cane head also has scattered dust soiling and slight darkening to white areas of Mickey's face. VG/Fine. Original cord at neck matches that shown in the Borgfeldt advertisement although this is rather dusty w/age. VG. Decal has a few thin streaks missing but remains legible. VG. Rare and only the second example we've seen in our 48 years.
