Item Description
From a series of 4 military rings issued as 1942 Kix cereal premiums. Ring is brass with adjustable bands and a slide-off top embossed with the Marine Corps symbol. Underside of top serves as secret compartment and top interior holds small black and white photo of Silver while ring top holds small black and white photo of The Lone Ranger. Usually one, if not both, of these original photos are missing from these rings and this is a rare exception which still has both originals intact. Bright luster is off of much of the ring base but the areas without luster are just a slightly darker shade of brass and still the piece displays quite nicely with the top areas of the ring still having majority of their original luster. The Lone Ranger photo is NM. Silver has tiny sliver off left edge and pair of microscopic hairline marks but displays well. The Marine logo seems to be the scarcest of the 4 designs.
