Item Description
Lot of two cereal box flats. Larger flat is 10.75x14.5" and from 1965. The front panel features illustration of Tony the Tiger and a photo image of a bowl of cereal. Back panel features a full color illustration for Tony Tiger’s “Hokus-Pokus Fun” Magic Ice Cube trick. Side panel features color ad for Tony the Tiger Breakfast Set that includes a spoon, bowl, and cup bearing Tony’s likeness. Flat is folded along center scored line o/w unused. Lt. margin aging, lower left corner has .5" surface paper rub but still Exc.Smaller flat is 10x13.25" and date stamped 1966. The front panel features illustration of Tony the Tiger and a photo image of a bowl of cereal with a word balloon that reads, “Live it up!” Back panel features a full color illustration for Tony Tiger’s “Hokus-Pokus Fun” Defying Gravity trick. Side panel features color ad for Tony the Tiger Breakfast Set that includes a spoon, bowl, and cup bearing Tony’s likeness. Flats are folded along center scored line o/w unused. Lt. margin aging, some small edge wear with several small tears, but still Exc.
