Item Description
Set of 36, each a 13/16" litho. Originally issued 1 per cereal box in 1943 and created by legendary "Premium King" Sam Gold. The inks used were very susceptible to chipping and the gloss finish was a magnet for dust so most examples today are Good to VG. The majority of these are Fine to VF. A couple with some extra paint wear or dent are row one #6, row two #2 & 3 with a craze line on #5, row 3 #3 has small dent, row four #2 has less gloss than most of the others, row five has some irregularities in the surface gloss on all examples except the fourth, row six #3 and #6 have slight dent. Overall an above average set most with Exc. gloss. See following related set.
