Item Description
First two are 2.75" and last two are 2.5". All carry name of maker Phila Badge. First is from "Southeast Catholic H.S./Class Of '48." Our expert on these, Hud Baer, comments that this is a very unusual button in that there was almost no other Catholic High schools participation in the tradition of graduation pin-back buttons. Light age marks mostly on the perimeter but a little on upper left quadrant. Second reads "Bartram High School/Class of February, 1948." Numerous tiny dark marks but full gloss and color with a very attractive pin-up featured. Next reads "WPHS 49'ers." Most likely from William Penn High School. Tiny artist initials "A.F." NM displaying Mint. Last reads "Ben Franklin 20th Class." Most likely from 1959 based on the school opening in 1939. NM. First and fourth we don't recall seeing before.
