Front of the button shows the 1950s animated cartoon character with text "Make Noise With Gerald McBoing Boing By Dr. Seuss/Press Here!" Button front has raised white plastic button and when pressed the button produces a series of "Boing Boing" sounds. One of the earliest of the sound producing buttons and in working Essentially Mint condition. Second is 3" button issued by toy maker "Coleco" and with portrait of book character and text "The Cat In The Hat By Dr. Seuss." Front includes 1957 "Doctor Seuss" copyright although the button is actually c.1990. Also Mint. Scarce pair.
