Item Description
Wrigley's gum sponsored this program on CBS in 1932-1933. The program dramatized versions of American Indian stories told by the character "Chief Wolf Paw" to the listeners who were considered Tribe Members "With The Voice That Fly's (Radio). Wrigley's wrappers served as "Wampum" to obtain premiums. This club ring, stamped on the interior "Sterling" and non-adjustable, is considered the earliest premium ring offered. Each piece features the club emblem of an arrowhead design surrounding the mark of a wolf's paw. Ring is a size 6 and Mint other than the normal tarnish. Comes with 7/8" tall arrowhead shaped membership pin as well as a quite rare tribal bracelet which is a curved silver luster band .5" wide covered in tribal code symbols. Minor tarnish and wear on this. Three of the very earliest pieces from the era of radio premiums. From the Robert M. Overstreet Collection. Comes with Hake's COA.
