Item Description
1.25" brass plus loop at top although missing the oval hanger with a pin that showed a small target design and had the words "Expert Sharpshooter." This piece came on a 1940s card with name of NYC Daniel Smilo & Sons. The card included the text "For Those Whose 'Aim' Never Fails In Upholding The Law." The medal carries the words flanking an image of Gene on Champ "Valor/Honor/Merit." The card carried the title appearing on the rim of this "Champ Crackshot Medal." The Hake Pop Culture Guide value for a medal on the card is $600.00. Quite rare but since incomplete a much lower opening. What remains is NM displaying Mint.
