This is a very curious ring c.1960s. The base is brass with adjustable bands each of which has a floral like accent at its top. A circular brass base is riveted to the ring top and this base has tiny teeth around the narrow rim edge holding a very tall dome of glass which serves to somewhat magnify the color portrait of an elf like young boy with his name at the upper left. Exc. and the only example we have seen. If you know more, we'd like to hear the details.
