Item Description
7" dia. record comes in original generic "Columbia" sleeve. This is Dylan's first ever Columbia single (and first under his name) and features the songs "Mixed Up Confusion/Corrina, Corrina." The label number is 4-42656 w/matrix numbers "ZSP-58626-1D" on "Confusion" side and "ZSP-58625-1D" on "Corrina" side. Also on the "Confusion" side across the second half of the word "Columbia" is promo sticker reading "For Demonstration Use Only Not For Sale." This is label variant 2 marked "Prod. by John Hammond" at bottom center below "Bob Dylan." A-side features the original mono version recorded at Columbia Studios, New York, Nov. 14 1962. B-side is alternate mono take to "The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan" version, recorded at Columbia Studios Oct. 26, 1962. Record is in choice NM condition and appears to have never been played. A highly sought after Dylan rarity and in investment grade.
