Plain original cardboard mailing box contains set by Ideal, 1966. Distributed exclusively through Sears department stores. Included are - "Sanctuary" Batcave, vacuform plastic pieces including large mountain piece, two tree scenes, five computer consoles, cityscape piece, tractor, molded plastic Batplane w/clear windshield, 3" to 3.25" tall figures including Batman and Robin, (both w/separate capes), Key Man (The Key), Mouse Man, Brainstorm, Kaltor. Batman holds Batarang in right hand which has two tiny tips off of it. Mouse Man holds syringe-like weapon which is missing tip. Brainstorm has fist upraised and is missing pointing finger. Batman and Robin figures are painted nicely, though chest symbols are unpainted. Figures have some aging and handling wear. Sanctuary is missing doors and radar/weather vane attachments for top. Vacuform pieces have several small cracks (some up to 1") and some scattered aging/dust soiling. VG/Fine overall. Box has product text on side reading "Batman Play Set." Box has been opened from bottom and has some heavy wear but complete and intact. "Batman + Robin" is written on side in marker but the "+ Robin" has been rubbed off, at some points through cardboard. Box is VG/Fine.
