7" tall solid plaster figure of Robert Crumb's popular Underground Comix character Mr. Natural. c. 1970. Mr. Natural first appeared in the May 5, 1967 premiere issue of "Yarrowstalks." Painted figure has an open mouth that is connected to a brass pipe exiting the back of Mr. Natural's neck, facilitating smoking cigarettes or marijuana joints. Plastic tubing would be connected to the brass neck pipe and this setup would allow one to smoke the hand-rolled cigarette of their choice by placing said cigarette into Mr. Natural's mouth, which shows some charring from use. Scattered dust soiling w/some minor paint chipping to nose and ears. Fine overall. Sold in headshops of the day.
