Item Description
19.5 tall stuffed cloth doll depicts Howdy Doody's friend Clarabell. 1950s. Doll is dressed in satin-like outfit w/lace collar and Clarabell's box (in which he keeps his horn - not present) is cardboard w/"Clarabell By Madame Alexander" text on front and is attached about his waist w/ribbon. Back has aged tape, front of box has small pencil number. Yarn hair and felt facial accents. Each wrist has metal jingle bell. Outfit is faded w/scattered small holes, the largest of which is 1/8" dia. Fine overall. Rare and the first we've offered in our 47 years.
