Lot of three illustrated cardboard window boxes, each containing 7.5" tall baby rattle toy w/rubber suction cup base, plastic rattle center and soft rubber squeaker head. Stahlwood Toy Mfg., Inc. © Kagran Corp. c. 1950s. Boxes have original cellophane windows intact. Included are Howdy Doody, Clarabell and Mr. Bluster. Boxes have varying degrees of wear/aging, two being VG/Fine while other is Exc. Both Howdy and Clarabell still squeak, Mr. Bluster no longer does. Toys' suction cup bases have hardened w/age, Howdy has slight warp but all stand. Top of each has ball/body that heads attach to and these have warped a bit w/age but all are complete and intact as made. Fine overall. All are scarce. As a bonus, comes w/page from March 1954 issue of Playthings magazine that features these and other toys by Stahlwood.
