Item Description
16" tall cold cast resin (w/appearance of bronze) statue depicts Lone Ranger radio actor Brace Beemer in costume, seated upon a rearing Silver. This statue was sculpted by artist Frank Varga, and was cast in a limited edition of 500, in an effort to raise money to produce a 3/4 life-size statue for display in Oxford, MI., where Beemer spent the later part of his life. Statue is mounted on a stained wood base and has engraved brass plaque that reads "Brace Beemer - Radio Lone Ranger." These promotional statues were cast in 1984 and helped raise funds for the larger scale statue that was unveiled in 1999. Wonderfully detailed, down to the design work on Silver's gun bridle and Beemer's Lone Ranger mask and outfit. Repair to front left leg of Silver, but this is only noticeable upon close inspection and does not detract from overall appearance, which remains Exc. These rarely come up for sale and sell in excess of $1,000 when they do. Comes w/COA noting this as "26/500". As a bonus item, comes w/small block of Lucite containing a silver bullet replica w/"Brace Beemer Dedication - January 23, 1982 - Oxford, Mich. - Home Of The Radio Lone Ranger" text within. Exc.
