2.5x5.5x4.5" tall ceramic depicting Mickey Mouse asleep in a chair. Unmarked but 1930s by Crown Devon, an English company that produced a few Mickey Mouse figural items that are now quite rare. Designed w/slightly recessed area at front for holding included correct vintage 1.25" tall votive-style candle by Price's of London. Waxed stiff paper band has wrap-around design featuring images of Mickey, Donald Duck and Pluto carrying candles. Lightly aged w/slight uneven edges due to melting of wax from heat but unused. VF. Candle holder has aging to the paint and scattered wear to Mickey's nose, shoe and ear sticking above back of chair. Still displays VF. Rare. From the Maurice Sendak Collection and comes with COA.
