15.5" tall felt-like stuffed Minnie Mouse doll w/pattern fabric skirt and felt flower attached to thread-covered wire. This is larger Minnie doll the same as the smaller Mickey and Minnie doll set we sold in our Nov. 2013 auction. Nice pie-eye accents and red hand-stitched mouth. Original felt ears and complete w/original string whiskers and thin fabric tail. Made by Needleart Toys and distributed by George Borgfeldt & Co. under their "Nifty" toys line name. Early 1930s. Trace of wear to surfaces of arms w/left arm having .5" repair at elbow. Still displays Exc. Rare and the first of this size we have offered in our 47 years, yet alone in this choice condition. Among the highest quality Minnie Mouse dolls made in the 1930s. From the Maurice Sendak Collection and comes with COA.
