Item Description
2x4" thin stiff card with text "National Republican Convention/1872/Philadelphia./Delegate's Ticket./Evening Session, June 7th./This Ticket Must Be Presented At The Broad St. Entrance, And Is/Only Good For This Session." Very minor dust soil. Krohn's reference "Republican National Convention Ticket Catalog And Price Guide" lists tickets for 1868 and 1876 but none for 1872. The 1868 three listed examples guide at $750.00 each while the 1876 examples guide at $600.00 each. Of the nine, eight are for "Bearer" and one is for "Editor's." None are for "Delegate" as is this 1872 rare example. VF. Don & Mildred Wright Collection.
