Item Description
Each about 20x20". First is "Protection To American Industries" jugate. Hake #3021. Cotton. Evenly aged with a couple small tan marks on borders. Fine. Second is "Protection To Home Industries/Tippecanoe & Morton Too." Hake #3043. Silk. Exc. Last is 3.5x4" image area jugate unlisted in Hake. Cotton with hand embroidered floral design. Image area in gray and not very bold, but quite possibly as printed. This variety shows sunburst design around Capitol dome rather than two flags. A nice group. Julie Powell Collection.
