Item Description
Actual tin lunch bucket about 6x8x8" tall plus wire swivel with wood handle. Interior complete with removable tray. Lid top comes off and serves as a container for soup or beverage accessed by pulling off top center circular piece which can serve as a cup and which reads "Favorite" on its top surface. Front of pail is boldly stenciled with classic 1900 slogan "The Full Dinner Pail." Tin surfaces were once shiny and many areas retain silvery luster, but overall tone is metallic gray. Slogan lettering has only the slightest wear. Overall extremely Fine. An outstanding three dimensional item for the 1900 campaign. Rare. Our last example back in Auction #196 exceeded $600.00. Julie Powell Collection.
