Item Description
2.5" glass-covered large high relief embossed tin image of TR in Rough Rider uniform. Exaggerated large red mouth featuring indents to hold 5 white balls representing his teeth. German registration number on lower edge. Reverse is also glass-covered with paper photo of horse-drawn wagon headed towards massive archway with tall flanking columns. Arch has some resemblance to that at Washington Square Park at foot of 5th Avenue in New York City. Single dot of luster off tin rim edge and .25" hairline scratch as made on his one shoulder. Deep rich color and overall N. Mint. Rare and unlisted in Hake. See Lewis & Clark ribbon #647.
