Item Description
7.25x8.75x1" illustrated thin cardboard slipcase contains three books "To Read and Color." Each is 3.75x8.5" softcover w/48 pages. Set No. 684. ©1934 KFS, Inc. Each book is numbered. Book 1 includes "Katzenjammer Kids, Barney Google" and "Little Jimmy"; Book 2 includes "Polly And Her Pals, Little Jimmy" and the "Katzenjammer Kids"; Book 3 includes "Little Annie Rooney, Katzenjammer Kids" and "Polly And Her Pals." Slipcase has small inside tab reattached w/tape, but this is a minor issue and corners remain tight. Strong color, VF. Books have scattered traces of edge wear (mainly at corners) from slipcase removal. A few have small corner chips as a result. Book 3 has slight blue fade to top half as exposed in slipcase, but set is still VF to VF/NM overall and remain unused w/no coloring. An overall choice, high grade example for this set.
