Large and impressive factory-sealed 27.75x34x7.5" deep illustrated cardboard box w/full color label contains complete and unused parts for "Sectuars" playset. Coleco, ©1984 Seven Towns Ltd. Along w/the "Masters Of The Universe - Eternia" playset (see item #2211), "The Hyve" was one of the larger playsets released in the 1980s. Accessories included a boulder-like wrecking ball, "Skalibur" turret gun, ladders, cage, landing pad w/trap door, collapsible bridge, and an interior detailing a "Bio-Control Laboratory." The playset came w/two "Mutant Insectoids" guardians. "Narr" was a glove puppet, while "Vypex" was a smaller finger puppet. Each had a cave from which they could ambush figures during play. Playset also came w/one of two Marvel "Sectuars" mini-comic books. "The Hyve" mini-comic was released w/the playset, but a rights dispute meant that many playsets (possibly most) shipped w/the "World Of Symbion" mini-comic instead, making "The Hyve" mini-comic the rarest of the two. As box remains factory-sealed, we cannot speculate as to which comic is included within. Box has some scattered wear and moderate aging to white portions of box w/left side panel having to faint moisture staining. Corner tip wear w/creases, but main panel label remains clean and bright w/only a few small color rubs at top corners. Fine overall. Contents remains Mint as factory-sealed.
