Item Description
5.25" tall painted cast metal bank depicts an elephant seated w/its trunk raised as if trumpeting. Underside of one foot has incised 1936 date and "Vanio" name. Bank features correct painted tin bottom w/locking trap and original key. This bank came in various colors, this is scarce red color variety. Bank has scattered paint wear, w/more moderate wear to top of raised trunk, edges of ears and to feet. About 85% paint remains. Fine overall.
