Item Description
3.25" wide by 1-7/8" tall hollow composition lantern w/cardboard candle holder inside base. Made in Germany, c. 1920. Great design has been molded/painted to appear as if the popular comic strip character The Yellow Kid were a pumpkin, w/paper insert at mouth (w/one tooth painted on it) to illuminate from within. Large ears at sides. Top front rim edge has thin .5" long sliver off and back rim has two .25" hairline cracks, but item remains structurally sound. Paper insert shows some lt. wear but remains intact. Tiny flake to green paint on one ear. Still displays Fine.
