Original illustrated cardboard box contains 9.5" long (10.5" to end of tow boom/hook) painted cast metal truck, part of Hubley's "Kiddie-Toy" line. 1950s. Box and toy are both marked 474, but truck pictured on box has separate searchlight, a feature this example does not have, instead having air tank cast on front of bed. Removable cast metal tow boom has original string and tow hook that can be manually cranked. Truck has a few tiny paint nicks but is o/w NM, old store stock. Box shows lt. corner tip wear and even aging. VF overall.
