Item Description
1-3/8x1-5/8" gold luster metal case watch on original 1-3/8" wide blue vinyl-covered leather band. Hi-Time, ©1971 New York News, Inc. Dial features cartoon image of firefighter character Smokey Stover seated in his "F.D." fire engine w/cat character seated behind him. Smokey's arms are animated and serve as watch hands. This watch was only produced as a promotional item for the Chicago Tribune newspaper as the "Smokey Stover" comic strip ended in 1973. Watch is running and Exc. Rare and first we've offered.
