Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard window box contains 8" tall doll by Admiration Toy Co., Inc. c. 1955. Box features generic Indian tepee images and has 1-3/8" dia. tin litho "Davy Crockett - Indian Fighter" button attached at top center. We are unsure if doll was sold this way or if button was added later. As is, looks nice for display. Generic plastic jointed doll (clearly a female doll as indicated by black painted shoes w/bows) w/working sleep eyes comes w/fringed "buckskin" outfit and real fur coonskin cap. Doll also comes w/4.75" long cast metal flintlock rifle. Doll and gun are Exc. Button shows some wear w/small nicks/scratches. Still glossy and VF. Box has some corner tip wear and .25" area of surface paper lift on top. Missing cellophane window. Fine. Scarce as boxed.
