Item Description
11x17" pressbook w/four pages for 1952 Realart double features re-release of the 1930 "Dracula" starring Bela Lugosi and the 1931 "Frankenstein" starring Boris Karloff. Both are featured in character on front cover, and the films are touted as "The Original Uncut Versions!" Inside page has two photos of two different theater marquees, both showing crowds standing under either large cut-out images of Lugosi and Karloff or large portrait images of their characters. Facsimile letter from Brandt Theatres of New York City is dated April 10, 1952 and states that the double feature has broken every record at Victory Theatre. Back cover features images of Lugosi and Karloff in character, this time using photo images from film posters. Pressbook has handling wear w/.25" piece missing from right margin of last page w/2" archival tape repair and another, .25x.75" piece missing. Scattered margin wear w/some faint moisture staining along bottom edge, though not visible on front cover. Fine overall.
