Original cardboard box w/die-cut cardboard insert contains six place settings set consisting of a total of 24 pieces (including two lids). Made in Japan, ©1937. There are matching cups, saucers and plates for Doc, Bashful, Sleepy, Sneezy, Grumpy and Dopey. Happy appears on the sugar. Dopey is on the creamer. Snow White and Doc are on both the teapot and serving plate. Serving plate is 6" dia., saucers are 4.5" dia., teapot is 4.5" tall and tea cups are each 1.25" tall. Box shows edge/corner tip wear to box's surface paper labels but remains tight w/only one corner split to lid. Fine. Some tiny scattered traces of wear to the set's images w/trace of blue paint on teapot but set remains VF overall. Nice larger set.
