Item Description
Illustrated cardboard shoe box w/"Lone Ranger And Tonto Cowboy Slippers" lid text. 1940s. Box has side panel label noting included slippers as "Blue" and Size 10. Box lid has two corner splits, .5" and 1" side panel tears. Box bottom has inward creasing to one side panel. VG. Felt slippers styled like cowboy boots w/felt spurs and images of "The Lone Ranger And Tonto" on the side. One slipper comes w/tiny ball chain w/gold luster metal gun charm, though we are not sure if issued as such. Slippers shows lt. wear/aging and are Exc. overall. Cardboard shoe box w/"Official Lone Ranger Boots" illustrated lid. Endicott Johnson, ©1948 Lone Ranger Inc. Box lid shows moderate wear w/color touch-ups along edges/corners w/tape remnants and glue repairs. Box holds original shape. Good/VG. 6.25" tall child's leather boots w/Good Year rubber heels. Images on boot sides w/"Lone Ranger - Tonto" text. Scattered lt. wear to one Tonto image. Well made boots. Fine.
