Item Description
6.75x14.5x8.75" tall brown Bakelite (or early similar plastic) has spring-loaded handle. 3.25x3.5" window at right reveals dial w/classic painted image of Lone Ranger on Silver holding lasso w/"Hi-Yo Silver" text. Pilot, c. 1940s. Brown fiberboard case back shows obvious wear w/two missing screws and two .75x2" areas missing at bottom. Underside has six narrow plastic ribs to elevate the case from the table surface. .5" chip to one rib, but this is not noticeable when displayed. The translucent celluloid window over the full color dial has 3.5" vertical crack and .75" horizontal crack at center. Celluloid window is heavily aged and could be replaced. Radio works. Even w/the scattered wear, case remains solid and intact. Fine.
