10x10x2.5" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains complete and unused set by L. M. Eddy Mfg. Co., Inc. c. 1955. Box includes Frontierland illustrations and at lower left corner is bw photo of Fess Parker as Davy Crockett. Lid has some scattered streaks of moisture staining and 1.25" partial corner split, but o/w box is tight and Fine. Set consists of 7.5" long marbled plastic and cast metal Hubley single-fire "Flintlock Jr." cap-firing gun and leather "Walt Disney's Frontierland - Davy Crockett" holster w/belt that has portion of belt covered w/illustrated vinyl strap w/Walt Disney's Frontierland" name. Belt also has embossed metal buckle w/bright silver luster. Vinyl is a bit aged but holster/belt are o/w Exc. Also comes w/7.25" long hard plastic powder horn w/vinyl gimp strap. Exc. Gun is unused, but most of the silver luster of the metal parts have dulled and there are small spots of yellow discoloration, both defects caused by storage in the leather holster. Exc. Nice set.
