2.25x3.5" heavy brass plate designed as a $10 ticket to "Admit One" to event October 16, 1932 at Hotel Astor ballroom with text "Pre-election Celebration Of The Stars Of The Stage, Screen And Radio As A Testimonial Of Their Affection For And Support Of Governor Franklin D. Roosevelt Democratic Nominee For The Presidency Of The United States." Listed on reverse are 44 members of the "Executive Committee" including: George M. Cohen, Irving Berlin, Harry Warner, George Jessel, Douglas Fairbanks Jr., Joan Crawford, James A. Farley, Will Rogers, Marion Davies, Jack Warner, Sophie Tucker, Milton Berle, Robert Ripley, Gene Tunney, Fontaine Fox, Lou Holtz and James J. Corbett. Scattered rubs on brass luster but overall luster is about 85% complete. Limited, rare issue.
