Pair of trade publications w/Superman content. First is 8.5x11" Jan. 1953 issue of "Kellogg's News" that came out shortly after the 1950s Superman TV show's debut and features one-page "Superman - Kellogg's Newest TV Show Brings Famous Character Into Living Rooms" article w/bw photos, referencing Kellogg's sponsorship of the show. Issue has some handling wear w/penciling on cover. Fine overall. Second publication is 8-7/8x11.75" Dec. 1953 "Playthings" trade publication w/262 pages and Disney character cover. Published by McCready Publishing Co. Has decidedly Christmas theme and has two pages of Superman licensing content. Catalog has wear w/small splits to top and bottom of spine. Fine overall w/VF contents. An interesting pair for the Superman collector.
