Item Description
20x28" poster was printed in 1944 and features the art of Albert Dorne showing image of coiled rattlesnake, its fangs dripping blood as it prepares to strike. Text at reads "Less Dangerous Than Careless Talk" w/additional text reading "Don't Discuss Troop Movements - Ship Sailings - War Equipment." Small text at bottom reads "U.S. Government Printing Office: 1944 O-603532 - Distributed For The Issuing Agencies By O.W.I." Reverse has text about the artist in one panel and mailing address w/War Department return address. Folded as issued w/scattered moderate aging to back and wear along bottom margin. 4.5" tape repair to fold line on reverse. Fine overall, but would display nicely if framed.
