Lot of three produced by Ideal in the 1940s. Pinocchio was produced in several sizes, offered here is 11" tall version in wood/composition (missing felt hat w/feather) and fabric bow tie. Decal on front is near 100% complete (w/only some tiny flake to edge outline). Composition body and head w/wooden arms and legs. Body shows scattered wear w/crazing to hair and by eyes, but mouth and neck remain totally bright and clean. Fine. Other Pinocchio being offered is version w/7.5" tall wood body, composition head, oilcloth collar and felt bow tie. As is typical the hat band accent tape strip is missing. Decal at waist has some lt. aging but is 100% complete. Hat has trace of aging w/some paint rubs/tiny flakes to tip of hair and typical minor craze lines. Collar is moderately aged. Still a nice example for display. Fine. Jiminy Cricket stands 8.5" tall complete w/felt collar/hat brim and worn fabric tie. Holds wooden umbrella in one hand. Underside of one foot has Ideal decal w/heavy flaking (most missing). Moderate scattered wear/aging w/obvious aging/fade to hat brim. VG/Fine.
