Item Description
c. 1935. Pair of 4" long coal cars w/attached composition Mickey Mouse figures that are jointed at waist and hold metal shovel in hands. Back of each car is marked "Mickey Mouse Stoker" and has Walt Disney copyright as well as "Made In U.S. Of America - Pat. Applied For" text. The Lionel Mickey Circus set as well as four different Lionel freight and passenger sets were issued with this car. Complete w/couplers for attaching to other train cars in the sets. These Mickey figures were animated by wire that passes over track, giving him the appearance of shoveling coal into engine. Scattered paint wear to figures w/trace of wear to edges of tin litho cars. Fine overall.
