Item Description
Superb 13" tall solid resin scratch-built figure by modeler extraordinaire Terry Reynolds of California. His work is featured on pages 25-26 of "Superhero Collectibles: A Pictorial Price Guide" by Bill Bruegman. Created in the 1990s. Depicted is Adam West in the titular role from the 1966 "Batman" TV show. He stands on a clear circular plastic base and holds the Batphone receiver to his ear, the phone itself is supported on two stacked clear plastic cases. Part of a series of custom superhero figures (see following items #2109-2110 and #2169) created by Reynolds. Wonderfully painted and detailed, this figure comes from an era before the collectibles figures and statues of today were commonplace. Exc. display.
