Auction #212 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 988 in auction 212
Item Description
Smallest is 7/8" and largest is 2.25". First is from 1898, a give-away from American Pepsin Gum Co. with their name on the back paper and with front picturing their stylized tomahawk beneath lodge name "Improved Order Of Red Men." Second is 1912 or earlier with a little cloudiness to the celluloid but otherwise excellent color and text "League Of Good Citizenship Altoona, Pa." Next two are c.1910 while the fifth is c.1930s. First in row two dated 1931 is another Red Men issue and suspends a brass tomahawk. Couple tiny age dots on the rim. The next 14 relate to hunting, fishing, gun, and sportsman's clubs. The first five with similar design are dated between 1954-1975. First three of these have light age. The button dated 1954 has a horizontal hairline crack across the center. The final eight are from Narragansett Gun Club/Salt Water Fishing Club and these span 1949-1976. All of these are NM displaying Mint.
