Item Description
Smallest are 1.25" and largest is 1.75". When the button was invented, manufacturers quickly figured out how to get photos of individuals on buttons. These were produced using photographic paper with no dot screen so the images are very clear and detailed. Some do but most do not have back papers which for some reason is typical of most photo buttons. While we can't put names to any of these there may be some hidden politicians or acting celebrities included. Row one includes a young black man in military uniform. Next to him is a man wearing cap with large metal plate bearing a serial number. The first 16 are men (one with a woman), the next 13 show one or more women, the next 16 show one or more children. The three in the bottom row have either stain or some crazing to the celluloid but other than these three the vast majority are extremely clean and glossy.
