Item Description
Smallest are .75" and largest are 1.5". The group begins with six pieces c.1930s, five of which have color tinting while the one in a somewhat different frame does not. Although not marked these were produced in Czechoslovakia. These are high quality domed celluloid without a dot pattern. Two show Christ and the other four show Mary. End of row two is a celluloid on a moveable stick pin. Open bible has text "God Is Love/1st John-IV-8." Early 1900s. Next are eleven buttons done as lithos and issued by Sunday School supplier David C. Cook. These all depict scenes from the bible with titles such as "The Boy Jesus In The Temple" etc. Next are 13 celluloid buttons with wonderful color. These all have sentiments such as "Trust In The Lord, Be Thou Faithful, Overcome Evil With Good" and similar. In row four items three and four have small paint dot missing from center and in row five the fifth button has small craze line. Others are all Exc. to Mint.
