Item Description
Adult size varsity jacket w/leather arms, wool body, leather pocket openings, and fabric collar, cuffs and hem. Metal snap buttons on front. 1990s. Officially licensed (license given to collector who had these made), jacket has embroidered "Archie" milkshake emblem on breast while back has large embroidered "Riverdale High" emblem w/large Archie portrait. Left arm has American flag patch and embroidered "41" patch, a reference to Archie's first appearance in "Pep Comics" #22 (Dec. 1941). NM. Extremely limited, only 41 of these jackets were made, making this among the rarest Archie collectibles. From the Don Maris Collection.
